Jinju Kang is a Korean artist who explores the “cycle of life” through photography and diverse art forms, focusing on Korean food culture. Inspired by childhood memories of traditional tools and patterns, she delves into the energy of time embedded in old objects. Believing that traces of human presence and time carry life, she centers her work on circulation. Her camera captures rice, utensils, ingredients, and landscapes, portraying the ecological cycle in which rice returns from the table back to the earth.
